PLAGIARISM
Think Twice Before Thanking Your Muse
Samantha Englund wakes in a cold sweat after murdering a janitor in a train station bathroom. The dream had everything she could hope for: a dash of sex, gratuitous violence, and a demonic voice egging her on. All in all, the perfect writing prompt.Although the grisly dreams help her web serial go viral, they also attract unwanted attention. After being detained by the authorities, Samantha learns her dreams mirror a string of killings on the other side of the country. After retired police detective Christopher Reyes shows up with his sketchbook and she’s accused of plagiarism by a prominent New York novelist, she realizes others are being plagued with the same horrific visions. As the nightmares continue and bodies pile up closer to home, Samantha, Christopher, and the best-selling author must join forces to hunt down the killer. If they fail, she may have to publish posthumously.Available in print and ebook format from Amazon. Or show your support by ordering signed copies directly from the author.

About the Author
Father, avid gamer, and madman without a box.
I was an imaginitive child (okay, maybe I still am). Most of that stemmed from an early introduction to tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons. My friends and I would play during High School any opportunity we got. Following college, it wasn't uncommon for us to binge eight-hour sessions every weekend.
One by one, we got married and started having children. And wouldn't you know it, the weekly binge sessions went the way of the dinosaurs. I missed them but at the time didn't understand what I lost by not engaging in the games anymore.
Following a rather vivid dream, I realized I could have that creative outlet again by writing. And said dream became my first novel (PLAGIARISM). You could say the rest was history.
Michael lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and two sons. Presently, he plays Dungeons & Dragons with his son and a bunch of other pre-teens through the park district (and having way more fun than he thought possible).
He believes if you've never tried TTRPG's, you owe it to yourself to give them a shot.
